Privacy Policy
Your privacy matters to us. Here we explain what data we collect, what we use it for, who we share it with and how we protect it.
Last updated: September 2026This Privacy Policy explains how Capasiete Soluciones Integrales, C.A. ("Capa7", "we") handles the personal data of those who visit our site or contract our services. By using the site or contracting a service, you accept the practices described here. This policy complements our Terms and Conditions.
Who we are
The party responsible for processing your data is Capasiete Soluciones Integrales, C.A. (Capa7 brand), with infrastructure at the Cogent datacenter in Boca Raton (Miami), Florida. You can contact us through the means listed in the Contact section.
Data we collect
We collect only the data needed to provide and manage our services:
- Account data: name, email, phone, address and company you provide when registering or contracting.
- Billing data: what is needed to issue invoices and process payments. Full card details are handled by the payment processor, not our servers.
- Technical data: IP address, browser type, operating system and pages visited.
- Support data: the content of the tickets, WhatsApp chats and emails you exchange with us.
- Service data: domains, contracted plans and the configuration associated with your account.
How we use your data
We use your data to:
- Create and manage your account and provision the contracted services.
- Process payments, issue invoices and manage renewals.
- Provide you with technical and commercial support.
- Send you operational notices (due dates, maintenance, incidents).
- Prevent fraud and ensure the security of the platform.
- Comply with legal and accounting obligations.
Payments and billing
Payments are processed through third-party gateways (for example, PayPal, MercadoPago and card processors). Payment information is transmitted encrypted directly to those processors. We do not store your full card details on our servers. Each processor applies its own privacy policy to the data it handles.
Cookies and similar technologies
We use cookies and local storage strictly for the operation of the site:
- Session (PHP): keeps your geolocation and preferences during the visit.
langcookie: remembers your language choice (ES/EN) for one year.curcookie: remembers the currency you choose to view prices.- localStorage: some tools (SSL checker, WHOIS) keep your query history only in your browser; it never reaches our servers.
We do not use these cookies for third-party advertising. You can delete them from your browser at any time; the site will keep working with default values.
IP geolocation
We detect your approximate country and city from your IP address for two purposes: to show you the right language and currency, and to offer network tools (locate-IP, speed-test). This geolocation is approximate and stored in the session; we do not use it to identify you personally.
Who we share data with
We do not sell or transfer your personal data to third parties for commercial purposes. We only share it when it is essential to provide the service:
- Payment processors, to charge you.
- Domain registrars and certificate authorities (SSL), when you contract those services.
- Infrastructure providers strictly necessary to operate.
- Competent authorities, when there is a valid legal requirement.
Domains and WHOIS
When you register a domain, the registrar and ICANN rules may require certain data to be published in the public WHOIS database. We offer an optional Domain Privacy service that replaces your data with that of a protection service, where the TLD allows it. Our WHOIS/RDAP lookup tools only display data that is already public.
Content you host
The content, databases and files you upload to our servers remain yours. We only access them when necessary to provide support, comply with the law or protect the integrity of the platform. You are responsible for lawfully handling the personal data of your own users hosted on your services.
Data retention
We keep your data while you maintain an active account and for as long as needed to comply with legal, accounting and tax obligations. When you cancel your services, account data may be kept for the period required by law; hosted content is deleted according to the cancellation section of the Terms and Conditions.
Security
We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data: encryption in communications, dedicated firewalls (pfSense), Imunify360, access control and managed backups. No system is 100% infallible, but we work to minimize risks. We recommend enabling two-factor authentication (2FA) in your client area.
Your rights
You may request at any time to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Rectify inaccurate or outdated data.
- Request the deletion of your data, where there is no legal obligation to keep it.
- Object to commercial communications.
You can manage much of this data yourself from your client area. For the rest, contact us through the means in the Contact section.
Emails and communications
We send you operational emails (invoices, due-date notices, maintenance, security incidents) that are part of the service and cannot be disabled while you have active services. Any purely promotional communication will include an option to unsubscribe.
Minors
Our services are intended for adults with the capacity to enter into contracts. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If we detect that a minor has provided us with data without authorization, we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy at any time. The version in force will always be the one published on this page, with its last-updated date. Continued use of the site or services after a change implies acceptance of the new version.
