Our Datacenter

Where your information lives

A good service doesn't start with software: it starts with the building. Capa7 operates its own rack at the Cogent datacenter in Boca Raton (Miami, Florida) —one of the largest traffic hubs in the world— and complements it with a network of top-tier allied datacenters on four continents. That's how we place every project where it performs best: close to your users, with enterprise-grade power, cooling and network.

Have

Any Questions?

Where is my data physically located?

It depends on the service. Our core —hosting, VPS, email and dedicated servers— lives in our own rack at the Cogent datacenter in Boca Raton (Miami, Florida). For projects that must be in another region, we use top-tier allied datacenters in North America, Europe, Latin America or Asia-Pacific. We always confirm the location before you sign up.

What does "own" infrastructure mean?

That in Miami the hardware is ours: Cisco Nexus switches, pfSense firewall, Dell PowerEdge servers and more than 30 physical servers in a rack we manage directly, without reselling a third party's service. That gives us full control over performance, security and support.

Why Miami / Boca Raton?

Because South Florida is one of the largest traffic hubs in the world and the main interconnection bridge between North America, Latin America and Europe. That translates into very low latency to Latin America and good latency to Europe. We explain this in detail on the Network page.

What certifications do the datacenters have?

The top-tier allied datacenters we work with operate under ISO/IEC 27001, 27017, 27018 and 27701 standards, with carrier-neutral, compliance-ready facilities. We let you know which certifications apply to your service based on where it's hosted.

What happens if the power goes out or the cooling fails?

The datacenters have redundant power (UPS + generators) and redundant cooling with leak monitoring, precisely so that a power outage or a climate failure doesn't interrupt service. All under 24/7/365 monitoring.

Can I bring my own server to the datacenter?

Yes. With our Colocation service you host your own equipment in our Miami rack, with redundant power, high-speed network and 24/7 support. You own the hardware; we give it a home.
